So, … for the cost of an average house rented for one day, (2026), the potential to lease prime restate for a century is available for some.
And if you don’t want people to find out what is going on, a government could fund the mass media with public money.
Can that happen?
Yes, Federal funding, ($67 million) is available, well at least until the next election has been sorted in 2028.
And why would a government pay any media producer unless they approved of the narrative.
I’m not saying that that is the objective, heaven forbid me from suggesting or even thinking an elected group would be involved in such an ethically questionable activity.
The money, which is available up until what would most likely be after the next Federal election is there for approved media “consumption”.
Google says: “The Australian federal government is part-paying journalist wages through the News Media Assistance Program (News MAP), allocating $67 million ($74 million including GST) across 184 newsrooms until March 2028”.

In the space of only a few days in July (2026) when my pen went to paper, (metaphorically speaking) the Australian Government announced that we, the Australian Taxpayer will send 1.5 billion dollars to Fiji, (that’s one thousand five hundred million dollars), 56 million dollars to the Solomons and 500 million dollars to India. That information was made available over a three-day period.
I am overwhelmed at processing the amounts and details of funds we tax payers give to other countries. Much of that information is readily available in the public domain but I fear there may be more of this wealth exported unbeknownst to the general public i.e. those who are not in THE CLUB.
Some of the funding focuses appear worthwhile, ie. $45 million is the specified amount included in a package of $104.6 million for “Official Development Assistance” for the year 2026-2027, being an increase from the amount given in 2025-2026 which was $94.4 million, specifically earmarked to reduce poverty and aid small business growth in the Philippines. Meanwhile, 16.6%, being one in six children in Australia live below the poverty line.

In mid-2026 Australia’s poverty rate was estimated to be 3.7 million people. Why would we pay to reduce poverty in other countries when even a single man, woman or child in our country is sleeping rough or going to bed or to school hungry?
But there are millions of Australian’s living in poverty, and yet, we/THEY give billions of dollars of our wealth away on a daily basis.
On the 23rd June, 1987, the Australian Pime Minister Bob Hawke announced, “By 1990, no Australian child will be living in poverty”.
