Unlimited free energy certainly would be a game-changer. And not just a game-changer for the third world where it could potentially eliminate poverty, but it would change the balance of power within the developed world overnight. Access to unlimited free energy would positively impact the lifestyle of every individual living on the earth revolutionizing modes of transport and methods of personal food production. Having access to unlimited free energy would exceedingly change the way the world operates and would most certainly level the ‘playing field’.
Imagine air-conditioned homes located in inhospitable climate zones, where, as much water as you required was readily on tap and accessed directly out of thin air. Yep, all you need is energy to access any water from the atmosphere and there is usually some humidity lurking everywhere. Funding from the Western World would hardly be an issue needing less than a little of the thousands of billions of dollars which are spent each year on trivial governmental exuberance. Imagine, a once funded concept, freely available to everyone, after design functionality was developed would be self-perpetuating within the community.

If accessing free energy for everyone was possible it wouldn’t exactly suit the powers that be. Of course the system that exists, exists for financial reasons. Established in the education system and supported by the media is the concept that we live in a system of scarcity always delivering not quite enough to go around.
The cost of everything is determined by the market and the concept of scarcity directs the cost in a ‘northerly direction’. Free energy, which would be priceless, would be by definition, worth nothing.
The majority of the energy society consumes both privately and commercially comes from the burning of what is referred to as ‘fossil fuels’. Energy that comes from any other source is patronizingly referred to as alternative. The reality is, there is no alternative energy. Energy is energy. There are different types of both produced and stored energy including electrical, chemical, potential, etc., but unless fuel is burning, it is ‘alternative’.
Alter/native, to do one thing and then another or as substitute to what is natural.
Following the money demonstrates that once a business model is commercially established, ‘alternative’ models that threaten competition are not welcome.
Take the ‘Sickness Industry’ for example. There’s standard western medicine and then there is natural medicine which is referred to as ‘alternative’. Whilst there is a place clearly demonstrated by the success of many modern day western medical practices, the opposite is the truth. Natural medicines are natural and are therefore not ‘alternative’.
Allopathic medicine is the fossil fuel of the pharmaceutical industry.
But fossil fuels do not come from fossils. That was a very successful marketing term that was introduced by John D Rockefeller to the Geneva Congress on Organic Nomenclature in 1892. Having oil ‘scientifically’ regarded as organic (using standard tobacco science methodologies) naturally determined that it was finite and therefore a scarce resource. The supply and demand of a product generally determines the market value, therefore, the scarcer the commodity, the higher the market value. The oil could justifiably be sold at a higher price.
